Here at Made By Me Craft Parties, I’m all about making parties special and unique!  A customer asked me to come up with an exciting activity for a balloon craft party for her daughter’s 6th birthday party.

I came up with the idea of making these gorgeous hot air balloons, which then became the party favours at the end of the day!  I’m so pleased with the result and the children had a ball!

We created the ‘balloons’ by using a decopatch technique, which is essentially covering a small box or shape with layers of pretty paper and glue.  The children then personalised their balloons with lots of gorgeous embellishments.  Take a look at these happy faces and their fabulous creations!
