Squish, Create and Celebrate in Dorset!
Looking for a birthday party that’s a little bit different? Get ready for a whole lot of squishy fun!
At my Squishy Making Party, children create two personalised squishies each, choosing their colours, fillings and sparkly extras to make something personalised and unique.
They’ll also decorate their own squishy boxes, fill in their squishy recipe cards and take home their creations in a decorated party bag.
It’s a hands-on, creative party packed with colour, creativity and plenty of satisfying squishes. I’ll take care of the set-up and tidy-up, so you can enjoy the celebrations!
This kid’s squishy-making party is perfect for ages 6 years and up.
I can come to your home or a venue you choose. I cover Poole, Bournemouth, Blandford, Dorset, Salisbury, Wiltshire, Southampton and Hampshire. A small charge may be applied to cover additional travel costs for certain locations.

The squishy party includes;

I’ll arrive at your venue 45 minutes before the party starts to set up with tablecloths, floor covering (if needed), and aprons for the guests.
We’ll decorate party bags as a welcome activity. This helps everyone to settle in and stay occupied while guests arrive. Plus, they’ll have their party bag named and ready to take their squishies home in!
2. Fun at the squishie making lab
Once everyone has arrived, it’s time to get creative in the squishy lab. Each child will make two different squishies and personalise them with colours, slime, beads, glitter and other fun decorations.
3. Decorate the squishie boxes
Whilst the squishies are being secured, the children will decorate two squishy boxes to store their creations and complete their squishy recipe cards. There will be a huge choice of gems, stickers and pens available for this activity.
4. The big squishy reveal!
Finally, we’ll show off our creations and finish with a squish test before everyone takes their makes home.
I’ll clear and tidy everything away once we’re finished – this usually takes about 30 minutes.

Squishy Party FAQs
Are squishy parties messy?
In my experience, squishy parties aren’t actually that messy! To make the slime, we use PVA glue, ready-mixed, washable paint and glitter. Aprons and tablecloths will be provided. I recommend having the party in an area with a washable floor, just in case. If you have carpet, we can discuss using floor coverings – just let me know!
A squishy party is a great alternative to the slime party, as the slime is encased and can’t make a mess when they are playing with it at home. I have thoroughly stress-tested the squishy cases, but please keep them away from sharp objects.
What space do you need?
All I need is a table big enough to fit all your guests around and ideally an area to put my extra supplies. This can be an extra table, windowsill, kitchen island unit, sideboard or similar.
What does each child take home?
Two squishies, two decorated boxes, recipe cards and a decorated party bag.
How are the squishies sealed?
I will seal and secure each squishy at the party with a cable tie. This is the safest way of making sure that the contents don’t escape.
Each child will also receive a squishy care card to make their squishy last for as long as possible. I recommend keeping Squishies away from sharp objects
What age is a squishy party suitable for?
Squishy parties are suitable for ages 6 and up (or children in Year 1).
How many children can I invite to the squishy party?
For children to receive the best possible party experience, I recommend inviting between 8 and 12 children. If you’d like more children to attend, we can supply extra party leaders to help keep the fun going.
